WHO ARE WE?
Hi, I'm Lauren! I'm the creator, owner, and lead bartender of The Horseshoe Bar. I've worked in the wedding and event industry for 20+ years. When I saw a need for a unique mobile bar option in the Sacramento area, I decided to create one myself by converting a vintage two-horse trailer into Sacramento's first mobile bar. I'm passionate about making your bar service unique and unforgettable!
HOW DO WE WORK?
We bring our one-of-a kind signature bars and skilled bartenders right to your event! We will work with you to select the package that best fits your needs and customize your specialty drink menu. We are a "dry hire bar" so you can provide the alcohol and we provide everything else needed for bar service!

FAQs
DOES THE HORSESHOE BAR SUPPLY THE ALCOHOL?
We are a "dry hire" bar which means that either you or your venue must provide the alcohol. We will work closely with you to put together the perfect drink menu and provide you with an alcohol shopping list based on the details of your event.
WHAT CAN THE HORSESHOE BAR SUPPLY?
We provide rental of our signature bar, bartending staff, and can provide you with everything else you'll need for your bar (minus the alcohol). This includes custom printed cocktail menus, disposable drink ware, glassware, ice, mixers, syrups, juices, garnishes, napkins, straws, etc. We can also add mocktails, non-alcoholic drink options and a coffee station to your package.
WHAT ARE YOUR SIGNATURE COCKTAILS?
We will work with you to create the perfect signature cocktails for your event based on your tastes and preferences. We want your signature cocktails to be a reflection of you and your special event. Once you've booked, we'll provide you with our own personal list of curated cocktails. You can select from this list or choose your own!
CAN YOU HELP ME DETERMINE HOW MUCH ALCOHOL TO BUY?
Yes! We will give you a shopping list of how much of each item to purchase to help ensure you don't run out of alcohol but also so you don't overbuy. We take into account several factors such as guest count, hours of service, and the selection of drinks you have chosen.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? WILL YOU TRAVEL?
We are located in Folsom, California, near Sacramento but we are always willing to travel! Travel within 30 miles of Folsom is included in our base package pricing. Additional travel is $2/mile round trip.
WHAT IS YOUR RESERVATION AND PAYMENT POLICY?
We require a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event date.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Plans changed? That happens! We offer a fully-refundable limited cancellation policy with each booking. Please inquire for details.
WHAT ARE THE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BAR?
Our bar requires flat ground for setup and service, clear access for set-up and break down, and enough clearance to tow the bar to its desired location via an SUV. The trailer is 8' wide, 13' long, and 10' high. We require access to a 110 volt plug for our bar lighting. If power is not available, we can provide a generator for an additional cost.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY EVENT GETS RAINED OUT?
Due to our advanced booking model, we can not accommodate cancellations due to rain. We will work with you to find the best available option to provide cover for the bar in the event of inclement weather.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes! We carry general liability insurance and liquor liability insurance. We can also add your venue as additionally insured under our policy.
ARE YOU CERTIFIED?
Yes! We are RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) trained and certified.
CAN YOU PROVIDE A CASH BAR?
A permit is required in order for us to sell alcoholic beverages. Please contact us for more details on an event with a cash bar.
